Dr. Amy Rose is a board-certified dermatologist
After medical school, Dr. Rose completed two years of general surgery training at New York University School of Medicine. She then returned to the laboratory as the melanoma research fellow for the NYU Interdisciplinary Melanoma Research Group, one of the largest melanoma research centers in the country. Following her melanoma fellowship, she completed her dermatology residency at NYU in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology.
During her residency she was twice awarded the Husik Prize for best research paper and was a two-time finalist in the Dermatology Society of New York’s Stritzler Resident Research Competition, winning the competition in her first year. Dr. Rose has published over 20 research studies on melanoma and cosmetic dermatology including a book chapter about non-surgical rejuvenation of the temple in Clinics in Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Rose has extensive training in cosmetic dermatology including lasers and injectables, but she also very much enjoys helping patients with their general dermatology concerns such as acne, eczema, or routine skin checks. She views each patient interaction as a partnership and looks forward to being there for you along the journey as you pursue your skin health and beauty goals.
