Charlotte Freytag, M.S., PA-C is a NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in dermatology. She grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and English from the University of Virginia.
Charlotte went on to attend Weill Cornell Medicine’s PA program in New York City. During her clinical training, she pursued her passion for dermatology. In addition to an outpatient dermatology elective, Charlotte completed a competitive rotation in oncodermatology and cutaneous oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. This extra training focused on skin cancer detection and treatment in addition to managing skin conditions that can arise due to cancer treatments.
After graduating from Weill Cornell Medicine, she completed a dermatology PA fellowship, where she trained extensively in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology with expert dermatologists in Manhattan. Throughout her professional career, Charlotte approaches each patient with compassion and kindness. She prioritizes attention to detail and enjoys working with each of her patients to help them reach their individualized treatment goals.
In her free time, Charlotte enjoys running, trying new restaurants & exploring the city with her family and friends, and walking her dog, Duke. She is excited to be a part of The Dermatology Specialists team!
