Chloe Huggins, MSPAS, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology and licensed in New York State. She received her Masters degree from Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital’s PA program, where she obtained a well rounded medical and surgical education in many of NYC’s top hospitals throughout the five boroughs. Prior to graduate school she attended Columbia University’s post baccalaureate premedical program, while simultaneously working as a dermatology medical assistant in NYC for over two years. She attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology/exercise science.
After completing a rigorous training program with Dr. Bobby Buka and Dr. Sourab Choudhury, as well as other highly qualified providers at TDS, whom all specialize in pediatric, general, and cosmetic dermatology, Chloe is well versed in evaluating and treating a wide range of skin conditions for patients of varying ages, cultural backgrounds, and skin types. She also completed the Diplomate Fellowship training program with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and is a current member of the AAPA.
Being raised both South Australia and the central coast of California, Chloe has witnessed many family members and friends deal with the lifelong effects of sun exposure. She strongly believes in the importance of skin cancer screenings and the power of prevention, and is well trained in the early detection and treatment of skin cancer. Chloe takes a collaborative approach with her patients, and believes that education goes both ways. She understands the deep emotional and mental aspects that accompany skin conditions, and that they can be very challenging for both the patient and family members. By encouraging open conversations and understanding a patient’s background and goals, she aims to create individualized, realistic, and effective treatment plans.
In her free time, Chloe likes to explore the city with her english bulldog, Moo. Even after five years of living in NYC, she knows the city will always offer her a new place to go, a new site to see, or restaurant to grub out at, which is why she plans to stay for a while. She is excited to build long lasting relationships with her patients here at TDS!
