Hanieh Rokni is a board-certified Physician Assistant in New York specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Hanieh completed her undergraduate degree in Public Health Science at the University of Maryland, College Park. She then went on to work as a medical assistant at one of the top dermatology practices in the D.C./MD/VA area. Here is where Hanieh discovered her passion for medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Hanieh received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Hofstra University – Northwell Health. She is a proud member of the National Physician Assistant Honor Society, New York State Society of Physician Assistants(NYSSPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She completed the Diplomat Fellowship through the SDPA and TDS training program under the guidance of exceptional TDS providers.
Throughout her education, Hanieh dedicated her time to expanding diversity, equity and inclusion in healthcare. Her experience serving in underserved populations, both abroad and in the U.S., have shaped her to provide culturally competent care to all patients. She believes in viewing the patient as a whole and strives to lead with empathy in all patient visits.
In her free time, Hanieh Rokni enjoys weightlifting, traveling, spending time with family & friends, and exploring the city. She is excited to begin her career with The Dermatology Specialists!
