Maria Klimenko, MSN, NP-C is a board certified nurse practitioner specializing in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She is originally from St. Louis, MO where she earned her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Missouri, followed by her masters degree from Purdue University. Maria decided to move her life to New York City in 2016 which is when her career started in skincare. Before joining The Dermatology Specialists, she spent several years training on innovative cosmetic, surgical, and medical dermatology with a prestigious dermatologist and Mohs surgeon in Manhattan. In addition, she spent time training under a plastic surgeon in Baltimore to gain even more expertise in the field.
Maria is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and currently working to obtain a highly regarded certification to be a “Dermatology-Certified Nurse Practitioner” which very few NP’s in the county uphold. She recently earned her certification as a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS).
Maria Klimenko has a special interest in preventative skin care and anti-aging procedures.
She provides the best standards of care to each and every patient and believes good skin starts from within. Maria is passionate about educating all her patients and managing various conditions for long term skin health. She is also fluent in Russian.
