Mary Valinotti, PA-C

Prior to beginning her professional career, Mary Valinotti studied at Marist College, volunteered at a local hospital and an urgent care center, and worked as a physical therapy aide. After completing her bachelor’s degree and accruing clinical hours, Mary continued her education and received a Master’s degree from the Physician Assistant Program at Marist College. During her clinical year at Marist College, Mary received additional training in dermatology in Westchester County. After becoming a board-certified physician assistant, Mary began her career as a dermatology PA on Long Island and gained invaluable experience from many seasoned dermatologists and residents.

She has recently submitted her first case report to be published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAAD. It was during this time that she developed a strong foundation within the realm of medical dermatology, showing a clinical interest in atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer diagnoses and associated minor surgical procedures.

Mary Valinotti is an active member of the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants. Outside of the office she enjoys cooking and entertaining, traveling, and playing tennis.
