Sarah Hambleton is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in the field of dermatology. Sarah graduated from Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital’s Physician Assistant Program where she gained experience at some of New York City’s most prestigious hospitals including New York Presbyterian, Mt. Sinai, NYU, and Lenox Hill. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Prior to completing her masters in physician assistant studies, Sarah worked as a medical assistant in the fields of dermatology and plastic surgery.
Having completed a rigorous training program with Dr. Bobby Buka and Dr. Sourab Choudhury, both of whom have expertise in pediatric and general dermatology, Sarah was trained in seeing patients of various ages, ethnicities, and skin types. Sarah also completed dermatology training in Argentina where she studied both dermatology and Spanish, further broadening her ability to treat a wide variety of patients.
Sarah specializes in treating an array of dermatological conditions and believes that dermatology is far beyond skin deep. She understands the deep psychological impact many of these disorders have. Sarah loves building a collaborative relationship with her patients to help each individual create a treatment plan that will be successful and attainable. Sarah enjoys continuously learning the most up to date cosmetic and medical procedures to help each person achieve the best outcome.
Sarah Hambleton is a proud member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). In her free time Sarah enjoys hot yoga and barre class, snowboarding, and hiking with her two dogs, Abbey and Jude. As a native Midwesterner, Sarah values the importance of slowing down and getting to know each patient individually and is looking forward to meeting you at one of the Dermatology Specialists many Brooklyn or Manhattan locations.
