Ashika Patel, PA-C, is a New York state board-certified Physician Assistant interested in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. She received her undergraduate degree in Public Health and Biological Sciences at Rutgers University, followed by her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Hofstra University – Northwell Health. She is a proud member of the New York State Society of Physician Assistants (NYSSPA), Society of Dermatology PAs, the American Academy of PAs.
Ashika has gained experience working with underserved populations, both abroad and in the United States. She is known for her enthusiasm for the field, as well as passion for patient centered care. Prior to working at TDS, she worked as a medical assistant for an admired Dermatology group in New Jersey and gained hands on experience working alongside a dermatologist during her clinical rotations while earning her Physician Assistant degree.
In her free time, Ashika Patel enjoys staying active by working out, running, and hiking. She also loves to travel, spend time with her family and friends, as well as explore the city. She is excited to begin her career with The Dermatology Specialists!
