Christine Lam, PA-C

Christine Lam is a board certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. A native New Yorker, she graduated from the prestigious Stuyvesant High School and then attended the University of Miami on a full academic scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology & Immunology with honors. After returning to NYC, she worked as a dermatology medical assistant where she discovered her passion for medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

Christine received comprehensive medical and surgical education rotating through various hospitals in the NYC area during her studies with Pace University – Lenox Hill Hospital’s Physician Assistant program, graduating in the top 10th percentile of her class. Her training continued at TDS, where she received instruction from the highly qualified providers at various TDS offices throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Christine is well trained in evaluating and treating a wide spectrum of dermatologic conditions in patients of all ages, ethnicities, and skin types. She continues to further her education by working on the Diplomate Fellowship training program with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Christine Lam believes in providing comprehensive and individualized dermatologic care to every patient, tailoring treatment plans such that they can be realistically incorporated into their lifestyles. A multilingual child of immigrants, she strives to provide culturally sensitive care to patients of all backgrounds. To further this goal, Christine applied for and received the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS), a rigorous academic program funded by the U.S. Department of State, to study Mandarin Chinese in Suzhou, China, followed by an internship in Women’s Health in Zhangjiakou Hospital, China. In addition, she is a native speaker of Taishanese and Cantonese, and continuously works on improving her Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys staying active with yoga, barre and HIIT classes, traveling and trying new foods, and volunteering with New York Cares.
