Denise Aquino is a board-certified physician assistant with licenses in New York and California. She graduated from University of California San Diego with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and a minor in Psychology. She earned her Master of Health Sciences degree from Duke University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in North Carolina.
Prior to joining The Dermatology Specialists, Denise Aquino worked in San Diego as a physician assistant in dermatology and outpatient internal medicine. She is a member of the California Dermatology Physician Assistant Society and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), through which she is currently completing the Diplomate Fellowship program to further advance her skills.
In her free time, Denise enjoys cultural trips and immersive travel experiences with friends and family. She is fluent in Tagalog and continues to improve her French and Spanish.
