Diana Vlad is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She first received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bacau University in Romania in 2003. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Nursing from Hunter College, New York, in 2010 and earned her Master’s degree from Lehman College, New York, in 2016.
Diana gained her Dermatology experience at Columbia University Medical Center, where she worked closely with the director of cutaneous oncology, managing patients with skin cancers and other chronic dermatologic conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, hair loss and acne. Diana gained years of invaluable dermatology experience during her time at Columbia University Medical Center and she is eager to share her knowledge with her patients at The Dermatology Specialists.
Diana is dedicated to providing compassionate, holistic care to her patients and believes in treating the patient as a whole. She has a passion for helping patients feel good in their skin. While she is a strong proponent of regular skin cancer screenings and a big advocate for skin cancer prevention, she also enjoys practicing cosmetic dermatology – chemical peels, lasers, neuromodulators. Diana is fluent in Romanian and Italian and she understands Spanish.
When she is not working, Diana enjoys long walks in nature, watching sunsets, yoga, everything with matcha, listening to French music, and spending time with family and friends.
