Kristy Gonzalez, PA-C

Kristy Gonzalez is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology who is fluent in both English and Spanish. She has experience and extensive training in treating various dermatologic conditions and developing effective skin care regimens for patients of all ages, skin types, and ethnicities. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is currently completing her Diplomate fellowship through the SDPA which involves an additional 70 hours of dermatology coursework.

Kristy is originally from New Jersey but grew up in Florida where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida. Upon graduation, she worked as a medical assistant at a dermatology clinic where she strengthened her passion for medical, surgical, and cosmetic Dermatology.

She continued her education at Charleston Southern University in Charleston, SC where she obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. During the program, she served as the program’s founding class president and graduated with recognition for her leadership. As part of her clinical training, she focused on both medical and surgical dermatology. When she was not studying for an exam, Kristy volunteered her time at the Dream Center Clinic, which is a free clinic for the community that offered dermatology and other healthcare services to the underserved.

After graduation, Kristy relocated to NYC and worked as an Urgent Care PA for one year prior to accepting the position with the TDS team. She plans to continue working at the urgent care clinic part-time to continue refining her skills in primary care.

Kristy Gonzalez currently resides in the Flatiron District and enjoys dancing salsa and bachata, exploring the city, traveling, playing guitar, and spending time with her friends and family.
