Dr. Lavanya Mittal is a compassionate physician who enjoys providing holistic and individualized care to her patients. She practices in Manhattan including the Flatiron District as well as the Upper East Side, and also the East Bronx. She completed her undergraduate training at Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia followed by medical school at the Albert Einstein college of medicine. During medical school, she completed a pre-doctoral research fellowship in rheumatologic dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania. After medical school, she completed her internship in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital followed by residency at Montefiore-Einstein Division of Dermatology. She has advanced training in complex medical dermatology including caring for more acutely ill and hospitalized patients. In addition to providing general dermatology care, she is passionate about treating patients with cutaneous rheumatologic conditions, other autoimmune skin diseases at her Upper East Side location. She is now accepting new patients.
