Mohammed Reeza Faroze, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Associate specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He has extensive experience diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions, from acne to skin cancer, in patients of all ethnicities and ages. He graduated from Touro College School of Health Sciences in Bayshore, NY, where he served as President of the Student Government Association and received top awards for most outstanding overall and most outstanding academic achievement. He also completed extensive training in various specialties at distinguished hospitals and private practices throughout the Long Island and NYC areas.
Mohammed also trained under the mentorship of dermatology specialists Dr. Bobby Buka and Dr. Sourab Choudhury at TDS. He is passionate about serving his patients and community and believes his time is well spent helping others in need. Before completing his studies, he worked as a volunteer emergency medical technician at his local fire department and a children’s advocate at Cohen’s Children’s Hospital Emergency Department. Mohammed strives to combine active novel research with his extensive medical training to better understand and treat his patient’s dermatological conditions. During his studies, he completed his thesis on the efficacy and safety of novel biologics in the treatment of psoriasis.
When it comes to patient care, Mohammed Faroze is a firm believer in personalized medicine and a champion advocate for all his patients. He focuses on each patient’s unique traits and concerns to formulate together an individualized treatment plan that is both effective and efficient. Mohammed also takes great pride in thoroughly listening and communicating with his patients about their dermatological needs and concerns, leaving no questions unanswered. He aims to always provide an environment that is both comfortable and fully transparent. He also loves to give out free samples!
Besides spending his downtime researching and keeping up to date on new and emerging dermatologic therapies, Mohammed enjoys spending quality time traveling with his loved ones, participating in various sports, hitting the gym, and making a positive impact wherever he can.
