Dr. Sarah Stano was born and raised in Boise, Idaho but after 13 years in New York, it’s safe to say she knows her way around the city. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College at Columbia University, followed by her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an internship at Flushing Hospital prior to dermatology residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Stano is committed to providing compassionate care with a patient-first approach. She treats a diverse patient population, manages general and complex dermatological conditions as well as performs a wide array of aesthetic procedures. Her clinical interests include hair loss, acne, contact dermatitis, skin cancer screening and cosmetic injectables. She has presented her research at national meetings and has authored several textbook chapters and peer-reviewed publications.
When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Stano enjoys spending time outdoors, including hiking, skiing, and biking. She also loves exploring new restaurants, reading, and always welcomes any food/book recommendations.
