Shimika Barrolle, DNP, FNP-C is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her BSN at Georgia Southern University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a concentration in Population Health degree at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
After receiving her graduate degree, she completed a 2-year Post Graduate Training Program in medical dermatology. During this program, she was mentored by a diverse cohort of board-certified dermatologists in a variety of conditions. Upon completion, she became a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner.
Shimika is also an active member of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association and serves on the organization’s Nurse Practitioner Society committee.
Shimika Barrolle is a highly knowledgeable and empathetic provider. She is passionate about providing high-quality dermatologic care to her patients and community. She looks forward to treating and building a good rapport with her patients.
