HEALTHINATION — Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States, but fortunately it can be one of the easiest to prevent. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, it is estimated that 1 in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer at some point in their lives. The good news is that the five-year survival rate for people whose melanoma is treated before it spreads to the lymph nodes is 98%.
