Fun Facts about Fishtown
- Fishtown Was Literally About Fish
Before it was all oat milk lattes and art galleries, Fishtown got its name from—you guessed it—fish. In the 1700s and 1800s, the area was a hotbed for shad fishing on the Delaware River and fishermen in waders ran the show.
