Katey is a passionate and skilled provider dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalized dermatologic care to every patient she meets. She joins The Dermatology Specialists following three years at a busy Boston-area practice, where she managed a high-volume schedule across both medical and cosmetic dermatology, and she is thrilled to bring that experience to the Brooklyn community.
Originally from Cleveland, OH, Katey earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University. It was during this time that she discovered her love for dermatology while working as a medical assistant at a local derm practice. She went on to complete her physician assistant training at MCPHS University in Boston, graduating at the top of her program and earning membership in both the Alpha Eta and Pi Alpha National Honor Societies. She remains an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Katey’s clinical interests include skin cancer screening, pediatric dermatology, acne and acne scarring, and hair restoration. She has experience caring for patients of all skin types and backgrounds, and is committed to staying at the cutting edge of the field. She regularly attends dermatology conferences and keeps up with the latest research and techniques so she can offer her patients the most current, evidence-based care available.
Outside of the office, Katey is an avid skier, loves to travel, and is a self-proclaimed Beli super-user. She is so excited to get to know the Brooklyn community and her future patients!
