Dr. Marc Cohen, MD is a board-certified dermatologist who is based in New York City. He received his bachelor’s degree in business and natural science from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He then completed his medical degree at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and graduated with a distinction in research. After medical school, he completed his internship in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan and then returned to SUNY Downstate where he completed his dermatology residency.
Dr. Cohen is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. Throughout his medical career, he has published over 20 peer-reviewed research articles on a wide range of dermatologic topics appearing in multiple dermatology journals. His main clinical interest includes inflammatory and infectious dermatoses in children and adults. His approach to clinical care is patient-focused creating treatment plans that are safe and effective while considering individual patient circumstances.
During his free time, Dr. Cohen can be found at the gym, on a walk, or enjoying a new restaurant in New York City. He is excited to join The Dermatology Specialists Team.
