Lauryn Albold is a NCCPA board certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. She earned her Master’s degree in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies from The George Washington University School of Medicine and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from Davidson College.
She began her dermatology career as a medical assistant for a well-established dermatology practice in the DC metropolitan area, where she built a strong foundation and developed a passion for the field. During her clinical training, she completed a focused elective rotation in dermatology, further strengthening her clinical skills and solidifying her passion for the field.
Lauryn is currently pursuing advanced training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology through The Dermatology Specialists’ fellowship program. She is committed to building lasting relationships with her patients by providing compassionate, patient-centered care that emphasizes education, open communication, and shared decision-making. Her goal is to develop personalized, realistic treatment plans that align with each patient’s unique needs and goals.
Lauryn has a particular passion for skin of color dermatology and is a proud member of the National Society of Black Physician Assistants (NSBPA), the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), and the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA).
Outside of the office, she enjoys staying active by playing recreational volleyball, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
