Justin Persaud is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. Originally from Queens, New York, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. John’s University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, before completing a rigorous Dual-Degree BS/MS Physician Assistant Program at Touro University. During his clinical training, Justin completed a dedicated dermatology rotation, where he gained experience caring for patients with a wide variety of skin conditions.
Prior to joining The Dermatology Specialists, Justin gained valuable dermatology experience as a medical assistant, where he developed a passion for patient care and dermatology. Having faced his own skin concerns, he understands the impact skin conditions can have on confidence and quality of life. Justin is committed to providing personalized, inclusive care and helping every patient feel heard, comfortable, and confident in their skin. He is currently completing an intensive training program at The Dermatology Specialists and is excited to continue expanding his knowledge while providing exceptional care to his patients.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, enjoying time outdoors, spending time with his dog, and making memories with family and friends!
