AMY SPIZUOCO, DODermatologist, Bobby Buka MD

Born and raised in Suffolk County, Long Island, Dr. Amy Spizuoco’s dermatology career stems from curiosity: she wanted to know the underlying cause of rashes, and what about the body makes them manifest they way they do. Her mission to solve the puzzle of rashes would give her far more answers to the skin and its mysteries: today, she is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist, member of various esteemed dermatology associations, assistant clinical professor, and practitioner of five years at Bobby Buka MD.

Dr. Spizuoco has worked for Bobby Buka MD for five years. After starting as a part-time dermatologist in 2012, she accrued additional responsibility as lab director/in-house dermatopathologist and full-time dermatologist in 2015. Alongside these duties, she oversees various research projects that the practice is conducting.

Dr. Amy Spizuoco is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatopathology, the American Society of Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York.
