Alexandra Nickerson, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated with honors from Colorado College with a BA in Neuroscience, Human Biology, and Kinesiology, and earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University.
Prior to joining The Dermatology Specialists, Alexandra worked as a dermatology medical assistant, which confirmed her passion for the specialty. Since then, she has trained with one of the Bay Area’s top dermatologists during her clinical year of PA school, and went on to become a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) by completing additional advanced dermatology training. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and SDPA, and is committed to staying up to date on the latest dermatological treatments and advancements.
Having dealt with dermatological issues herself, Alexandra understands the impact that skin health has on overall well-being. She is dedicated to building lasting, trusting relationships with her patients and providing personalized care to help them achieve optimal skin health and renewed self-confidence.
Outside of dermatology, Alexandra is passionate about fitness, and enjoys reading and exploring new food spots throughout the city.
