Alyssa Raskind, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant licensed in New York State who specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She attended the University of Rochester for her undergraduate studies where she majored in brain and cognitive sciences and completed four years as a student-athlete on the Womens’ Soccer team. After completing her undergraduate degree, Alyssa moved to the Boston area to work at Massachusetts General Hospital on the neuroscience care unit prior to starting PA school at Bryant University.
During her PA training, she gained valuable dermatology experience in Brooklyn, NY in addition to eleven rigorous, hospital-based clinical rotations throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Alyssa started her career as an orthopedic hand surgery PA in Brooklyn, NY, regularly performing in-office procedures and assisting in surgery before completing the TDS dermatology fellowship program led by our highly trained and experienced providers. She is also an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Alyssa Raskind is passionate about individualized, communicative, compassionate care and strives to create an open and safe environment for patients to express their healthcare goals. She is committed to making patients feel comfortable in their own skin and treating each patient based on their unique concerns.
On her days off, Alyssa enjoys being outdoors, attending shows and concerts, reading, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
