Angela Hyo Kim is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received her Bachelor’s degree from St John’s University and earned her Master’s degree from Columbia University.
Before joining The Dermatology Specialists, she worked as a registered nurse on a cardiac telemetry unit at North Shore University Hospital. After obtaining her Master’s degree and realizing her true passion, she began her career in dermatology as a nurse practitioner and has been treating patients of all ages with various skin conditions since then.
Angela is dedicated to ensuring patients receive the individualized care they deserve. She understands the profound impact dermatological conditions can have on the quality of one’s daily life. She wants to help patients feel their best in their own skin by achieving their medical and cosmetic needs.
Native to Queens. Angela is fluent in Korean and continuously works on improving her Spanish. In her free time, she loves to read, travel, learn about new cultures and try new cuisine. She is also passionate about skincare and staying active with yoga and pilates.
