Chiara Rosenbaum, MD

Dr. Chiara Rosenbaum is a dermatologist deeply committed to helping her patients achieve healthy skin through informed and comprehensive care. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and manages a wide range of dermatologic conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, hair loss, and skin cancer. She performs a blend of medical dermatology, surgical oncology, and cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Rosenbaum is originally from California and attended Washington University in St. Louis for her undergraduate education. She solidified her passion for medicine while pursuing a Masters in Science at Columbia University. After earning her medical degree at Touro University in California, Dr. Rosenbaum moved to Detroit, Michigan for Dermatology residency. During her training, she served as Chief Resident and gained extensive training in general and complex dermatology, cutaneous surgery, cosmetic injectables, and lasers.

Healthy skin is not only a medical priority but it’s also key to feeling confident. Patients feel at ease with Dr. Rosenbaum because she actively listens to their concerns and offers personalized therapies that are carefully curated in collaboration with each patient. Dr. Rosenbaum ensures every patient receives the highest quality of care by delivering holistic, customized treatments designed to support the patient’s optimal health.

Dr. Rosenbaum is prepared to speak with patients about the latest skincare trends and help them navigate messaging on social media platforms to determine best practices. Dr. Rosenbaum strives to empower patients with accurate information and results-driven treatments to help them feel comfortable in their own skin. She is passionate about educating her patients, as well as her family and friends, on sun-safe measures and preventative medicine.

Dr. Rosenbaum remains engaged in the dermatologic community as a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery, and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She has authored many publications in leading dermatologic journals, and she currently serves on the committee for Community Service and Public Education for the Women’s Dermatologic Society.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Rosenbaum enjoys attending live music and theatre performances, trying new restaurants with family and friends, and listening to audiobooks.
