Dupah Gobin, PA-C

Dupah Gobin, PA-C, is an NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from CUNY York College and went on to receive her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the prestigious Pace University–Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. During her training, she completed clinical rotations at several of NYC’s top hospitals and clinics, gaining well-rounded medical experience and a strong foundation in patient-centered care.

 

Before graduate school, Dupah worked for three years as a Lead Medical Assistant at our very own The Dermatology Specialists (TDS), where she was mentored by distinguished providers including PA Christine Lam, Dr. Buka, and Dr. Choudhury. This experience ignited her passion for dermatology and shaped her commitment to helping patients look and feel their best.

 

Dupah continues to advance her dermatologic expertise through ongoing professional training at The Dermatology Specialists with Dr. DiCicco and other TDS providers, further refining her diagnostic skills, treatment planning, and procedural techniques. She is also pursuing the Diplomate Fellowship through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and remains an active member of Diversity in Dermatology (DID), SDPA, New York State Society of Physician Assistants (NYSSPA), and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

 

Known for her warm demeanor and thoughtful approach, Dupah takes the time to truly listen to her patients and create personalized, practical treatment plans that align with their goals and lifestyles. Born in Guyana, where she lived for 16 years before moving to New York City, she brings a deep appreciation for cultural diversity to her practice and is dedicated to providing inclusive, compassionate care for patients of all backgrounds.

 

Outside of work, Dupah enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and exploring new countries, visiting local coffee shops and restaurants, and attending gallery openings and live shows—reflecting her love of art, culture, and meaningful connection.
