Dr. Gary Lee Waterman, D.O., F.A.A.D., is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Dermatological Surgeon. He performs a blend of dermatologic, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Waterman graduated from La Salle University with a B.A. in Biology. He earned his medical degree with honors at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa and completed an internship at Metropolitan Hospital and a residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, both in Philadelphia. He then completed a two-year residency at Temple University and University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.
Dr. Waterman is a Fellow and Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and holds active licenses in several states as well as having held hospital privileges. He has practiced for over 30 years, owned his own practice in Plantation Florida where he practiced for 25 years. Previously, Dr. Waterman was an associate professor at Nova Southeastern University for many years.
Dr. Waterman has been an author of numerous publications and lecturer for several pharmaceutical companies. He acted as principal investigator and investigator for several medical and cosmetic studies, including Kybella. He is past president of the Broward Dermatological Society. Dr. Waterman offers his patients comprehensive dermatological care, including General Dermatology, Lasers, and Cosmetic Procedures in addition to skin-care regimens.
