Jomana Kenawy, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant in the state of New York specializing in dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Hunter College before going on to complete her Master’s degree through the Physician Assistant program at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she built a strong foundation in patient-centered, evidence-based care.
Before pursuing her Physician assistant degree, Jomana worked as a medical assistant in dermatology, gaining hands-on experience across medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. This early foundation sparked her passion for the specialty and shaped her decision to pursue a career dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident skin.
Jomana continues to build on that foundation through The Dermatology Specialists’ fellowship program, where she is furthering her clinical and procedural skills in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), reflecting her ongoing commitment to professional growth and staying current in her field.
Outside of work, Jomana loves traveling, especially trips back home to Egypt. She cherishes time spent with family and friends, enjoys photography, painting, and visiting museums.
