Kathryn “Kate” Oldham, MMS PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology. She graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience. Continuing her education, Kate earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the prestigious Wake Forest School of Medicine’s PA Program. While there, Kate was elected president of her class, serving as a liaison between faculty and students. She also received Honors designation in her didactic coursework and in many of her clinical rotations, including in Dermatology and Plastic Surgery.
During her time after college and prior to graduate school, Kate worked as a Medical Assistant at our very own The Dermatology Specialists where she was directly mentored by some of our most experienced providers. The opportunity led to her passion for the field of Dermatology and her deep desire to help patients with all their skin care needs. Kate is continuing to develop her dermatological skillset by completing training through TDS and by pursuing the Diplomate Fellowship through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Kate is a compassionate and competent provider who builds relationships with each of her patients to establish treatment goals and personalized skin care regimens. She was born in Denver, Colorado and was raised in North Carolina. She recently relocated to Manhattan where she now lives with her husband. She enjoys running, cooking, and traveling.
