Kelly Shi, PA-C is an NCCPA board-certified and New York State-licensed Physician Assistant who is passionate about helping patients feel confident and comfortable in their skin. She received her bachelor’s degree in Human Health from Emory University and went on to earn her master’s degree from the Pace University–Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program in New York City. Throughout her clinical training, Kelly gained experience in both private practices and major academic hospitals across NYC, with additional elective training in dermatology and plastic surgery.
Kelly’s love for dermatology began before PA school, when she worked as medical assistant in a dermatology office in Brooklyn. There, she cared for patients of all skin types and developed a special interest in treating skin of color. The hands-on experience she gained, as well as the close relationships with all the patients she built, shaped her dedication to the field and continue to influence the way she practices today.
Known for her warm, attentive approach, Kelly strives to create a supportive environment and build a trusting, lasting relationship with every patient she meets. She takes time to listen, communicate clearly, and work together with her patients to find personalized treatment plans that fit their needs and goals.
Kelly was born and raised in New Jersey, and she is conversationally fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Outside the office, she loves traveling, swimming, pilates, music, exploring new restaurants around NYC, and spending quality time with friends and family.
