Kelso Blaze, PA-C (they/she) is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology. They graduated with honors from Rowan University earning two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Biology, along with a minor in Psychology, and a concentration in Neuroscience. They continued pursuing their dream of helping others feel comfortable in their skin by earning a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). Prior to PCOM, Kelso was a Medical Assistant in Dermatology for three years working in the city that sometimes sleeps… Philadelphia. They are grateful to have been mentored by a diverse range of experts in medical and cosmetic dermatology, and trusted to assist in surgical procedures like MOHS for skin cancers.
Kelso is a compassionate and competent practitioner who understands every patient is unique and will work to ensure their patient’s goals are supported through a holistic approach. Yes, their Improv-Comedy/Clown training has strengthened their ability to communicate, be present, & listen. Kelso volunteers with humanitarian clown groups like Clowning and Caring with Patch Adams, MD. They understand play and connection are vital to health. Kelso appreciates traveling, music, and being outside laughing with friends. Kelso is thankful to continue their education through The Dermatology Specialist’s (TDS) training program. They are excited to deliver individualized skin care to help the city that never sleeps appear fresh and well-rested.
