Kristen Franceschina is a Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is certified through the NCCPA and completed her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies at Mercy College in the Bronx. A native Long-Islander, Kristen moved to Baltimore for her undergraduate studies at Loyola University Maryland, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Philosophy.
While completing a rigorous training program alongside Dr. Buka and The Dermatology Specialists team, Kristen gained firsthand experience treating a wide range of dermatological conditions and is excited to bring her knowledge and skill-set together in order to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care.
Kristen is a proud member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She is currently in the process of completing SDPA’s diplomate fellowship program.
Kristen currently resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where she enjoys live music, hot yoga, and (maybe a little too much) iced coffee. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Cami. Kristen is thrilled to be a part of The Dermatology Specialists team and loves helping her NYC patients feel their best in the skin they’re in.
