Dr. Layal Antoury graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then pursued translational and clinical research in neuromuscular disorders at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, solidifying her passion for advancing patient care through scientific discovery. Motivated by these academic and research experiences, Dr. Antoury earned her medical degree at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was awarded a full-ride scholarship. Following medical school, she completed her dermatology residency at Orange Park Hospital in Florida.
Throughout her career, Dr. Antoury has presented at national conferences and published extensively in high-impact scientific journals, including Nature Communications, the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Dermatologic Therapy. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and continually participates in professional development to stay at the forefront of clinical advancements. Dr. Antoury emphasizes individualized care, ensuring every patient receives the most advanced and effective treatments available. Whether addressing medical dermatology concerns or exploring cosmetic options, she values open communication and collaborative decision-making.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Antoury enjoys discovering New York City’s diverse neighborhoods, sampling its eclectic dining scene, and staying active outdoors.
