Dr. Margot Chima is a cosmetic and medical dermatologist in New York City.
After graduating from the University of Michigan with honors, Dr. Chima received a scholarship to attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center for medical school, where she also graduated with honors. She completed her dermatology residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she was selected by her faculty and peers as chief resident. She has published dozens of articles, book chapters, and abstracts; she has been the study doctor on more than 35 clinical trials for conditions like acne, wrinkles, eczema, psoriasis, alopecia areata, and vitiligo.
Dr. Margot Chima is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, serving on the Practice Operations Committee. She also serves the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, where she was selected as a member of their Future Leaders Network.
When not caring for patients at The Dermatology Specialists, she is a Clinical Instructor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she loves teaching the dermatology residents.
