Melanie Choi is a board-certified Physician Assistant licensed in the state of New York specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. After graduating from Tufts University, she has gained experience working as a plastic surgery physician assistant and dermatologic surgery physician assistant. Melanie has completed the TDS fellowship program under the guidance, supervision and mentorship of the knowledgeable and caring physicians in the practice. She is an active member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Melanie has had an interest in medical and cosmetic Dermatology for several years, and feels fortunate she is able to combine her passion for medicine and patient care and education. She takes great interest in helping her patients with various dermatologic conditions. She is passionate about patient education and hopes that her patients feel confident in their ability to implement healthy skin habits when leaving her office.
On her days off, Melanie enjoys cooking, walking her golden retriever Daisy, staying active, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to continue her career and growth with The Dermatology Specialists.
