Monica Ford is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from CUNY Baruch College and her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is a Diplomate Fellow and member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates, as well as a member of Diversity in Dermatology, the American Academy of Physician Associates, and the New York State Society of Physician Associates.
Prior to PA school, Monica’s career in dermatology started as a medical assistant at the Dermatology Specialists, and later went on to serve as Director of MA Quality & Development. During this time, Monica was fortunate to be mentored by many experienced providers, helping her build a strong clinical foundation in dermatology and a deep appreciation for team-based care.
After rejoining the practice as a physician assistant, Monica received advanced training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology under the guidance of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Beau DiCicco, Co-founder Dr. Sourab Choudhury, and other exceptional senior providers.
Monica cares for patients of all ages and backgrounds and has experience treating a wide range of dermatologic conditions. At the heart of her practice is a patient-centered philosophy grounded in listening, education, and shared decision-making with patients to develop treatment plans that are realistic, personalized, and easy to incorporate into everyday life.
