(she/her) Namitha Kache MPAS, PA-C is an NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in general and cosmetic dermatology. She is originally from Austin, Texas where she graduated from the University of Texas with Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology, and minors in Chemistry and Business Foundations. She went on to work as a Medical Assistant for two years, assisting over 15 dermatology providers and MOHS surgeons throughout Central Texas. Namitha then obtained her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Mountain College, where she completed clinical rotations at various reputable hospitals and clinics throughout Texas, Montana and the Pacific Northwest.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), through which she completed the SDPA Diplomate Fellowship, an extensive accredited didactic training program within the field of Dermatology. In addition, she completed four months of rigorous training with Dr. Buka, Dr. Choudhury, and several other TDS providers in order to further advance her diagnostic skills, treatment plans and procedural technique.

Namitha is passionate about patient education and preventative medicine, taking the time to provide thorough counseling while actively working with her patients to develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific needs. Her empathy, compassion and dedication shine through, allowing her patients to feel extremely comfortable and confident in her care.

Namitha is of South Asian descent, and is therefore familiar with how various dermatological conditions can present differently in skin of color. She recognizes the importance of catering both medical and cosmetic treatments to each individual skin type. Namitha takes a holistic approach to dermatological care, and recognizes as well as addresses the psychosocial impact that chronic skin conditions may have on her patients’ mental health. She also has a special interest in understanding how nutrition, lifestyle, and various environmental factors can impact inflammatory conditions, the aging process and the development of cancer, and how these ultimately play a significant role in dermatology. As a vegan, she is passionate about incorporating this lifestyle into skin care practices if and when possible, advocating for vegan, cruelty-free and sustainable treatment options.

In her spare time, Namitha enjoys traveling, cooking/baking, playing musical instruments, biking around the city and going on long hikes with her rescue pup (adopt, don’t shop!)
