Peter Hashim, MD

Peter Hashim, MD, MHS, is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and board-certified dermatologist. 

Dr. Hashim earned his MD from Yale University and undergraduate degree from Cornell University. He additionally earned a Master of Health Science (MHS) at Yale, studying the clinical research outcomes of pediatric craniofacial anomalies. Dr. Hashim completed his internship in surgery at New York—Presbyterian Hospital and residency in dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was selected as Chief Resident in his final year. He remained at Mount Sinai for fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology. 

Dr. Hashim is actively involved in research and has served as an investigator on over 30 clinical trials in the treatment of skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, and alopecia. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Hashim serves on the clinical faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he helps to train dermatology residents.
