Rachel Rankin graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology in 2016. After working for several years as a medical assistant, Rachel developed a passion for dermatology and all things skin related. She was accepted into an entry level MSN-FNP program, earning 1 of 20 spots among 300 other applicants. After obtaining her nursing license, Rachel began working in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in which she worked with complex wound care including diabetic foot ulcers and pressure wounds.
Rachel Rankin completed an intensive internship in dermatology her senior year of graduate school in the farmlands of California, treating skin cancer, rashes, hair loss, acne, and a variety of complex dermatological conditions daily. She moved to New York to be closer to family, and is excited to be part of the team.
