Dr. Rasna Kaur Neelam was born and raised in Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) with a dual degree in Biomolecular Sciences and Art, where she found passion in drawing parallels between the arts and sciences.
After college, Dr. Neelam stayed in Ann Arbor and attended the University of Michigan Medical School. During medical school, she completed a masters in journalism at Columbia Journalism School in New York City, where she focused on subculture and healthcare reporting.
Dr. Neelam then completed her medicine internship at St. Joseph Medical Center in Chicago followed by the completion of her dermatology residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, serving as chief resident. While in residency, she completed a certificate in integrative dermatology through Learn Skin.
Dr. Neelam is passionate about integrative and evidence dermatology, building trusting alliances with her patients, and welcoming all skin types. She is committed to helping her patients feel confident in their skin.
